The creative process is both artistic and scientific. We immerse ourselves into the process from start to finish; each project is rooted in research and strategy, before pen hits paper, the design and story are created through the charrette process, an intense creative session which informs the interior design and brand through design drivers, positioning, look and feel, understanding the psychographic, competition and guest journey through touchpoints and signature elements.
A “Charrette” (French: Chariot means fast moving wheels) combines creative, intense working sessions with public workshops and open houses. A Charrette is a collaborative planning process that harnesses the talents and energies of all interested parties to create and support a master plan that represents transformative community change.
Many design firms have their version of the charrette process, ours is different where we combine our background in brand strategy and positioning, market research and visioning to assemble a value add to our clients. To us, finding the hook, the big idea, the “why” driving the design and brand are crucial to a cohesive outcome.
